Earth Probe TOMS has been detecting smoke from the fires in Florida and desert dust from north Africa advecting westward towards North America using the TOMS aerosol index. You can view images of all this activity by following the links below. Since Earth Probe TOMS does not have full global coverage, these images were created by compositing 2 days worth of data. The largest amount of data comes from the date specified on the image. The links below indicate the last day of data used for each image.
